(Exclusive Parsi Gara Collection)

The Parsi "Gara" is a quintessence of embroidery, art and history. Parsi Gara came to India in the 16th century with the Chinese trading. During trade sojourns they discovered a beautiful silk fabric called "Gaaj" Their prominent designs are often based on nature. After many modernizations in stitch, thread and style, we have transformed the traditional Gara to a contemporary art form.

We are reviving, restyling this heritage craft, which was the Parsi women's sophisticated sartorial challenge to the then European or British dresses. The timeless elegance of a traditional Parsi gara is undeniable. This artistic embroidery was very realistic in its depiction of flora and fauna.

Originally the fabric used was "Sali Ghaj" later thick fabrics like shamu satin and crepe-d-chine were used and now even georgette and chiffons are used. The embroidery is done by silk threads.

Our products are really classic and can make for an heirloom that is handed down from one generation to the other and can be worn across all seasons. It's beauty is unmatched and cultural value cannot be described in words and they keep up with the millennial trends.
